The use of coils in air conditioners
The AHU coil functions to heat or cool the environment using air conditioners. Industrial AHU coils produce either cool or hot air by passing air over their fins. Radiran Manufacturing Company manufactures and designs various types of industrial coils and air conditioners required for air conditioning, providing them to valued customers with the highest quality and durability. The AHU coil acts as a heat transfer exchanger, facilitating heat exchange between outside air and the refrigerant inside the copper coil tube. Positioned within the airflow created by the ventilation fan, it regulates ambient temperature to the desired level.
In all types of air conditioners, two types of coils are installed, each usable depending on seasonal needs. During winter, hot water flows through the coil to heat the passing air, achieving the desired temperature. These coils are categorized as Hot Water Coils and Steam Coils. Coil design and structure must match the fluid type to prevent premature failures or inefficiencies. To supply hot water, consider using a boiler for the heating coil.
For cooling during hot seasons, a chiller or ice bank is needed to cool the water inside the industrial air conditioner’s cooling coil. As air passes over the fins of the cooling coil, cool air enters the environment. Generally, air generator coils are made from copper alloy tubes and aluminum fins, differing in tube arrangement, thickness, and size. With over 50 years of experience, Radiran designs and manufactures various coils tailored to different needs, boasting skilled specialists and engineers.
