ASHRAE was formed as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers by the merger in 1959 of American Society of Heating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHAE) founded in 1894 and The American Society of Refrigerating Engineers (ASRE) founded in 1904. With more than 50,000 members from over 130+ nations, ASHRAE is a diverse organization dedicated to advancing the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world. Registered companions receive access to the Meeting of the Members Plenary Session + Keynote Presentation, Meet and Greet event on Monday, January 22 from 9:30-11:00 am and access to Companion Lounge with complimentary morning coffee, tea and snacks.
